Here’s a great collection of cool edits of underground disco classics by master DJ Walter Gibbons called Jungle Music. These tracks are basically extended mixes/edits of well known and lesser known disco acts that Walter Gibbons used to spin at the clubs he had residencies in. There are cool cuts by Gladys Knight, Bettye Lavette, Double Exposure, Stetsasonic, Salsoul Orchestra and many more. If you are at all into disco or extended versions of songs then this is your compilation. Jungle Music by Walter Gibbons is highly worth owning. One of my favorites is Set It Off (Walter Gibbons 12″ Mix) by Strafe. A classic disco track that I’ve known for quite sometime now and here it’s in a 12+ minute of cool, sexy midtempo disco glory.
