This is one of the sexiest remixes made ever. Taking a very romantic and beautiful song and giving it a midtempo beat to is is alright in my book. Sexy cocktail lounge, hotel bar music is what this remix of Nina Simone’s The Look Of Love sounds like. Taken from Nina Simone’s Remixed & Reimagined CD from a few years ago and I highly recommend getting it because it’s a beautiful collection of Nina Simone recordings all updated with today’s remixing styles. I had not heard of this track Feeling Good (Epic Mix) by Huff & Herb back when it came out in 1997. It’s basically a sample of Feeling Good by Nina Simone. This of course the Epic Mix is remixed by the genius Rollo of Faithless fame and the brother of Dido! Anyway I first heard it several years later when Buddha Bar 1 came out. It’s a pretty darn good mix and of course a remix by Rollo with his signature sound. And I love how Nina Simone’s voice is perfect against the electronic dance beats! Pretty risque pic of Nina below … didn’t know she did that type of stuff! In the nude!!!!!!!!

Check it out below and compare the original with a very minimal background well at least the first part of the song is pretty minimal and the Huff & Herb version with the Rollo Epic Mix.
