One listen to Slave from Magnum 38 and you’ll immediately think Booty Bass shaking piece of music it is. Slave is from a tribute album to Grace Jones along with several other but I found Slave to be the most approachable followed right up with Suffer. I don’t really recognize any of the tracks on the ep except for this track Slave. It’s quite repetitive but in a good way with lots of deep, heavy bass which is meant to be heard in a loud, dark club. Some of the music is sort of on the leftfield with lots of nasty attitude. Those of you Grace Jones fans might not really dig it but hey if you have an open mind you might. Check it out it will grow on you. And you’ll really hear the sounds of Berlin blasting at you as that’s where Magnum 38’s from! Makes sense including the album artwork!
