This is a vinyl promo release of the Dirty South Remix for Just Can’t Get Enough – the Depeche Mode synth pop classic that kick started their 25+ year career in the music biz. It’s a pretty darn good remix by Dirty South the Australian DJ/musician that’s known for his electro house sound. The remix keeps the original famous synth sound but it takes a while to actually hear something borrowed from the original Depeche Mode track but I still dig it. It’s very fresh and now … well from 3 years ago part of the Depeche Mode greatest hits CD that came out then with their single Martyr – their 45th single. It’s always fun to see the video to Just Can’t Get Enough as well. Check it out below.

This is pretty darn cool! This Trentemoller remix is so much better than the original version (sorry DM guys) because it’s got this energy that the original downer song doesn’t. But the energy is not too upbeat that it’s aggressive or anything too fast it’s just the right amount of oomph to it that I love, love this remix. Prior to discovering this remake I had never heard of John Lord Fonda? Do you folks know of this guy? His album DeBaser 2 which is the accompanying album to DeBaser. Both are great and worth owning if you want new music to discover and check out. If you’re at all into Vitalic (one of my favorites), The Hacker (another of my favorites) do check out John Lord Fonda as I think you’ll dig his music.

I actually love this remix of Depeche Mode’s Useless by Kruder & Dorfmeister much more than the original synth pop/rock track. It’s been given their signature remixing style that they have come to be known for but you can still hear the great vocals of Dave Gahan. It’s perfect for background cocktail party chilling.

I’m so happy that we have a great band like Depeche Mode! They obviously are not afraid to hire out the greatest remixers of the era to add a new sound to their current releases. I give them an A+ as a band! Go for it – I hear they have a new album coming out so I can’t wait to hear some tracks from it soon.

This Kruder & Dorfmeister remix is also available in an edited form off the awesomely amazing K&D Sessions along with great trip hop bands like Lamb, Sofa Surfers and David Holmes.

I love love love Never Let Me Down Again from Depeche Mode. Music For The Masses is a masterpiece and this comes off of it. Well the original that is. I also love Digitalism. I think dance punk is a good classification for the type of music they release. I do love Idealism – their first release as there’s some strong cuts on it. Including tracks like Idealistic and Pogo. I think both tracks get you groovin and dancing all over the place.

So here Digitalism have taken the masterpiece track Never Let Me Down Again and remixed the hell out of it. I mean it’s hard and intense and rocking. Don’t you think? I love it. It gets you groovin and moving. Check it out and let me know what you think as I think you will love it.

I really do enjoy Depeche Mode and the fact that they keep remixing their old songs. That’s awesome as I love revisiting their old stuff in an new light. Don’t you?
