Children (Tilt’s Courtyard Mix) by Tilt Covers Robert Miles

Ok I have to admit I was a fan of Children by Robert Miles when it first came out but it soon became overplayed and too pop cheesy. So I forgot about it real quick. 3 years later I noticed Tilt remaking the Robert Miles dream trance hit so I was curious to check it out. To my surprise it was pretty darn cool an awesome progressive trance release from one of my fave trance acts in the late 90s. Tilt was praised by many of the top DJs from the UK including Paul Oakenfold, Sasha and John Digweed.

In addition to Children, Tilt had several other trance releases including I Dream, Invisible, Butterfly, Rendevouz and What’s This. All some of my fave trance cuts back in the day and definitely worth checking out.

I still think this version of Children is the superior one over both. I especially love the cheesy Jason Voorhees/Friday The 13th sound effects added in this track. Ok it’s certainly cheesy but in a cool kind of way. Check out both below. The original Rober Miles version which became a worldwide hit and the the trance cover by Tilt in 1999. What do you think?
