This is fun sunny version of Wham!s Club Tropicana from the little known band Bossasonic. Very island/Brazil inspired. Whereas the Wham! version was also island inspired it has that classic 80s sound to it. This version by Bossasonic definitely has the jazz thing going. I can see this version played at a fun cocktail club/theater as it has that vibe going. Check them out both. I love both and I can listen to them over and over again. I’ve been a fan of Martin Solveig from France for quite a while now and was very happy to find that Dragonette the electro pop band from Canada and Martin Solveig had teamed up to do a song together. The original Boys & Girls is a bouncy electro pop number but this remix by Bart B More is something that takes me back to early 90′s rave techno music days. Very very fun and great for the dancefloor.
