This remix of Love Shack by The B-52′s goes back to 1999 – ten years ago and it’s a pretty darn awesome remix by DJ Tonka. Not sure really who this DJ Tonka is but if I ever play Love Shack by The B-52′s this is the version that I play. Love Shack is now 20 years old! Darn I feel old but this version is still pretty darn fresh. It’s much more upbeat and the bassline is what’s going on in this remix. The original Love Shack from Cosmic Thing was a pretty flat track so this kicks things way up! Check them both out below. The remix was part of a bigger package along with Hallucinating Pluto for The B-52′s Time Capsule Greatest Hits disc that was coming out shortly after. The remix CD Single included other great remixes as well. Check out the entire tracklist below.
